AI should work the way teams do

Most AI is built for one person at a time. A window, a keyboard, and a private session that ends when the tab closes. Everyone is being made faster in private, on their own, and we don't think that's where this is going.

The team has always been the unit of work, not the person. The thinking that matters is shared, the decisions that matter are made together, and the work that matters compounds because someone before you did some of it. If AI doesn't fit that shape, it stays a productivity tool: a faster way to do what you were already doing alone.

We're building AI for the way teams actually work: one conversation, many people, many surfaces, many tools. The thread your colleague started on Tuesday is part of Spectra's memory by Wednesday, and what one person teaches it, the next person starts from. The next generation of work software isn't a tool for one person. It's a shared system for the whole team, and that's what we're building.
